Transportation

LRCMHC is accessible via Central Arkansas Transportation (CATA) bus routes. CATA also provides LINKS bus service which provides mobility to persons who are prevented by disability from using regular fix route bus service. For more information or to use the CAT trip planner, go to www.cat.org.

The Arkansas Medicaid Non-Emergency Transportation (NET) Program can give you a ride to and from your doctor appointments or other covered Medicaid services. You do not have to pay anything and there is no limit on the number of trips or miles you can travel. NET will only take you to and from Medicaid-covered services. To be able to get a ride from NET:

  • You must be on Medicaid.
  • You must try to find another ride first—maybe with friends or family members.
  • You must have no other way to get to your appointment.
  • For more information, call the Arkansas Medicaid NET Helpline, 1-888-987-1200, or go to www.medicaid.state.ar.us/InternetSolution/consumer/net.aspx

LRCMHC also provides transportation to and from the program as needed for persons who are actively participating in the Pinnacle House Rehabilitation Program; arrangements for such transportation are made by the Pinnacle House program staff.
